Dental crowding and lip closure issues

Crowded teeth led her to start orthodontic treatment — and as a result, it also improved her lip closure, profile, and overall facial harmony!

This elegant and confident lady already had beautiful features, but crowding teeth were affecting oral hygiene. She hoped braces would help — and they did, in more ways than one.

Before treatment,

We observed:

1. Lip incompetence — her lips couldn't close naturally at rest, so she unknowingly exerted effort to keep them together.
   This tension made her lips appear tight and unnatural.
2. Recessed chin and unbalanced profile from a side view

After treatment:

Well-aligned teeth → fewer hard-to-clean spots
Restored bite & chewing function → better oral and overall health

And perhaps the most surprising transformation:
Her lateral profile became more defined.
Most importantly,
her lips now close naturally without effort. With the release of muscular tension around her mouth, her lip shape softened and became more balanced — even showing a gentle upward curve at rest. The result? A brighter, more confident version of herself. Absolutely stunning! 😍
